Namastey!

Some time around the release of Lakshya (2004), I found myself getting expelled from preschool for being too bothered by a continuity error in the annual day play—what a wild start! A few years later, I realised that my life revolved around arts, cameras, and the stage.

Growing up in a family of writers and musicians, I quickly realized that my voice is my greatest treasure. I've been performing—singing, dancing, and acting—since I was 5 years old. At 6, I picked the pencil and wrote my very first short story. A couple of years later, I fell head over heels for directing, diving into writing and directing school and community plays. My college journey finally gave me the platform to make films and music videos, and I made sure to churn the most out of it.

I often get asked about the difference between Adya and Aadishaktii.
The simple answer? Aadishaktii is Adya's stage name! The longer answer is that Aadishaktii represents an idea, and Adya is the passionate ideator behind it.
 
Today, I continue to learn about the technicalities of the industries I explore while staying true to my creative side. People are often labeled as right-brained (logical, analytical, verbal) or left-brained (creative, emotional, imaginative).
What I bring to the table is my whole brain—the best of both worlds: the mind of a manager and the heart of an artist.
 
I strive to infuse my creative knowledge and experience into everything I do. I learn, I adapt, and I give my best!
